Foreign Exchange Student Drowns in Washing Machine

Lumiere de Lafyette, age "dix-sept ans", a foreign exchange student from France, was found dead inside of his host family's washing machine. He had apparently fallen into the machine while it was running and drowned. Several socks were found lodged in his intestines, indicating that the rapid-rinse cycle had forced them into his system. Foul play is not suspected from the host family. It is presumed that de Lafyette was unfamiliar with the mechanics of American washing machines, which led to some sort of fatal misunderstanding.

de Lafyette is remembered as a stylish, skinny, interesting foreigner.
